Descripción
Sumario:This study aimed to analyze the search and repercussions of journalistic materials on climate changes from the perspective of bioclimatology in the Brazilian Amazon region. It is a documentary and exploratory study, based on data from Google Trends and news portals, starting with an initial record of 1.248 news articles, of which 135 were selected, distributed across 25 media outlets. The data were analyzed through descriptive analysis with the aid of Iramuteq software using Descending Hierarchical Classification. Three axes were listed: mitigation, adaptation, and community involvement; social vulnerability in the pandemic context; and bioclimatology and human health. The results identified, in the media context, a higher frequency of news about climate changes in the Brazilian Amazon associated with vulnerable groups, such as indigenous peoples, riverside and traditional communities, and those located in urban peripheral areas, demonstrating the importance of journalistic communication in shaping public perception on these issues.
