| Sumario: | The myth of Europa tells the story of the young princess of Phenicia, who was kidnapped by Zeus and left on the island of Crete with her children. Europa was also the name given to one of Jupiter's moons which, in Roman mythology, resembles Zeus in comparison to the Greek one. Its discovery, along with Jupiter's three other large moons, Io, Ganymede and Callisto, are attributed to Galileo Galilei between the years 1605 and 1610. The word comes from the combination of the Greek term and word, respectively, εὐρύς (eurus), 'broad' or 'vast', and ὠπ (opt), 'vision' or 'contemplation' which reflect the territorial immensity and culture of the European continent. In the current economic situation of the European Union (EU), some countries have been suffering from severe consequences of the aging of the population, such as Italy, Finland and Portugal, which have instituted incentive programs for the migration of older people. young people and able to work, facilitating the issuance of visas and citizenship documents. In a context of globalization and intensification of the migration rates of Brazilians to the European continent, several topics are brought to the fore, among them the educational issue, in particular, university higher education programs and the parallels that can be established between Brazil and European countries. |
