| Sumario: | It is a widely known fact that mass media influences greatly professional and amateur sports, athletes` feeding habits and the understanding of the Olympic movement. While analysing this subject, we intended to make some considerations about the advantages of the mass media in persuading spectators to adopt some habits in order to preserve health, about the advantages of having healthy feeding habits and about a wider understanding of the Olympic movement, which focuses mainly high performance athletes as a consequence of an efficient sports training together with an appropriate feeding, independently on other moral, social and psychological aspects. |
