In this research, it is intended to explain the evolution of the physical configuration of this border urban territory, during the period 1880-1920, through documentary and historiographical research, in addition to analyzing maps of the period, through various variables, which help to be able to distinguish areas of growth. The observed results explain how these influenced their peculiar configuration. Ciudad Juárez es hoy en día considerada una metrópoli, pero a finales del siglo XIX era apenas una villa y a principios del XX fue que comenzó su crecimiento y “modernización”. En esta investigación se pretende explicar la evolución de la configuración física de este territorio urbano fronterizo durante el periodo 1880-1920, por medio de la investigación documental e historiográfica, además de analizar mapas de le .poca, a trav.s de diversas variables que ayudan a poder distinguir las áreas de crecimiento. Los resultados observados explican cómo estas influyeron en su peculiar configuración.
