Thus, complicated legal situations may arise as a result of the management of such property. The management of the personal property is chaired by the rule of spouses’ freedom of action. For this motive, there are no explicit limits to the Administration and disposal of that property. However, this does not imply there are no limits to their actions.In this article, the author seeks to point on the study of the legal restrictions and implicit limits that would be applicable to the management of the personal property in the community of property in the Peruvian legal framework. She also analyses the concept of unilateral unrenounceability of acts of liberality because it appears to be the only exception to the rule of freedom of action. La sociedad de gananciales es un régimen de comunidad relativa. Se configura legalmente por la existencia de bienes comunes de los cónyuges, sin perjuicio de que, durante su vigencia, cada uno pueda tener bienes propios. Se genera, entonces, un entramado de situaciones jurídicas que emergen de la gestión de dichos bienes. La gestión de los bienes propios está presidida por una regla de libre actuación de los cónyuges. Por ello, no existen límites expresos a los actos de administración y disposición de estos bienes. Sin embargo, ello no significa que no los haya.En el presente artículo, la autora se centra en el estudio de las restricciones legales y límites implícitos que resultarían aplicables a la gestión de los bienes propios en la sociedad de gananciales en el ordenamiento jurídico peruano. En ese sentido, analiza también la figura de la irrenunciabilidad unilateral de actos de liberalidad, pues parece ser la única excepción prevista a la regla de libre actuación.
